On World Environment Day, it is worth reflecting on a simple but powerful reality: the future of sustainability will depend not only on how we consume resources, but on how effectively we recover and reuse them.

As the global transition to electrification accelerates, critical minerals such as lithium, nickel, cobalt, and graphite will become increasingly important to power economies and enabling a low-carbon future. Ensuring a sustainable supply of these materials is one of the defining challenges of our time.

At LICO Materials Private Limited, we believe the answer lies in building a truly circular ecosystem for battery materials. By recovering valuable resources from end-of-life batteries, we are transforming waste into a strategic resource, reducing reliance on virgin mining and strengthening the sustainability of the energy transition.

On this World Environment Day, I am proud of the role LICO Materials is playing in advancing circularity, conserving critical resources, and helping build a more resilient and sustainable future for generations to come.
